While I have been a practicing physician since 2003, I made the change to telemedicine full time in 2020. I believe it is the future of patient care. After many experiences with patients who did not receive quality thyroid care due to single lab numbers, I attended a conference in 2012 that altered the way I view thyroid care. I look at the whole patient by assessing symptoms as well as reviewing labs to offer the best treatment and care for the individual. I find that supporting thyroid concerns can make a noticeable and positive change in people’s lives.
