You take T3 alone (liothyronine only)
You take compounded thyroid medication, or you aren't sure what you take
You have or had thyroid cancer
You have or had hyperthyroidism or Graves' disease
You're pregnant, trying to conceive, or gave birth in the last 6 months
You have chest pain, palpitations or atrial fibrillation
You had a hospital stay in the last 3 months

Can I refill Armour Thyroid online?

How much does a refill visit cost?
$29 per visit, for T4, T4 + T3 or NDT. Members pay the same. Your medication is separate: you pay the pharmacy directly, with insurance or at the cash price.
When am I charged?
When you submit your request, before a provider reviews it. If your answers mean we can't help, you're declined at submit and not charged.
What if I don't get a prescription?
The visit fee is non-refundable once the review is done, even if no prescription is issued. You pay for the review, not for a prescription.
How long does it take?
Usually within 24 hours, though we can't guarantee it. Your prescription is sent once your visit is approved. Pharmacy processing times vary.
How will I know my prescription was sent?
We let you know by email and in your Paloma portal.
How much medication can I get?
With recent labs, up to a 90-day supply, with refills up to 12 months after your lab date. For example, labs from 3 months ago can mean 90 days plus 2 refills. Without labs, a 30-day bridge with no refills. Your provider decides what is appropriate.
What if I don't have recent labs?
We can offer a one-time 30-day bridge, once every 12 months, along with an option to test through our at-home kit or JustLabs. A return visit after a bridge is another visit fee.
Do I need to be a Paloma patient already?
No. If we don't have your records, send a photo of your pharmacy label showing a fill date in the last 6 months. If you're already a patient, the photo is optional.
Can I change my dose or start a new medication?
Not with a refill visit: it's for people on a stable dose of a medication they already take. For a dose change or a new medication, book a visit with one of our thyroid doctors.
What if my labs are out of range or I have new symptoms?
You can still submit. Out-of-range labs and new or worse symptoms aren't automatic declines: a provider reviews them and decides what's appropriate.
Do you ship medication?
No. We send your prescription to a pharmacy you choose, and you pay the pharmacy directly.
Can I use insurance?
Not for the visit fee, which is self-pay. You can use insurance for your medication at the pharmacy, or pay the cash price.
