Dr. Sarah Akhunji is board-certified in Internal Medicine and uses both conventional and alternative therapies to help thyroid patients achieve their health goals. She completed her residency at the University of Arizona and a two-year fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Akhunji has hypothyroidism herself and understands the frustration that a patient might experience. She believes in collaborating with her patients to help them achieve their health goals through conventional and alternative therapies.
When Dr. Akhunji isn't working, she enjoys hiking, writing, and spending time with her family.
