Why I am passionate about treating patients with hypothyroidism:
There is much more to treating hypothyroidism than prescribing thyroid supplements. The thyroid system has a complex feedback mechanism that can be a challenge to balance. I am passionate about it because every patient is different and has different needs and I am fascinated by every patient's story.
My approach to treating hypothyroidism is:
Treating it in the context of the whole person, taking into consideration their stressors, toxic exposures, adrenal health, lifestyle and nutrition.
